Sine & Cosine is a thesis on luxury footwear.

The Amsterdam-based brand was founded in 2021 by two mathematicians with no formal education in fashion. As outsiders, the two—unaware of any rules or standards—developed their own process for designing shoes, adopting their academic perspective. The two are inspired by historical footwear which they study to further develop while interweaving their own creative insights and ideas.

Translating that academic perspective into inspiration results in a collection of footwear that embodies what luxury means to them: creative exploration and expression without compromising practicality or craftsmanship.
